Mission Statement

The mission of GSSG is to promote, organize & effectively develop physical challenges, as they relate to the 50+ population of the State of New Hampshire, undertake related activities benefiting the well being of senior adults as appropriate, and focusing on the development of active & healthy lifestyles. The mission is accomplished by encouraging fitness and by providing athletic competition in a variety of sports, clinics and creative pursuits.

Where Can I help?

GSSG holds annual State Games for athletes of all abilities, usually in August and over a two-week day period, however the 2009 games begin in May. There are 18 different competitive sports with over 50 events held at various venues in a central location. Volunteers are needed for all events as well as behind the scenes.
